Serving time for armed robbery, Joey Monteleone entertained himself by using his power of astral projection to animate inanimate objects. But when Joey inhabited a vat of molten asphalt, his spirit got stuck. Now a walking pile of burning asphalt, Tar Pit lumbers around and makes like sticky for the Flash.
