Dead Girl
The being known as Dead Girl was once a young actress who moved to New York City for fame a fortune. Instead she was murdered and buried in a shallow grave. While buried, her mutant powers kicked in, making her a mutant zombie with the ability to communicate with the dead.
Dead Girl joined the media-obsessed mutant X-Statix team, eventually starting a romance with fellow member the Anarchist. She was killed again during the ill-fated last X-Statix mission, but briefly returned to the living to assist Dr. Strange with an uprising of the dead.
