Like something that occurs every year, the annual Charitymates Minimate auction returned for 2011. This year's theme is "Fighting for Japan", and customizers were invited to create "super tournament fighter" customs for auction, with proceeds going to help Japan rebuild from their recent earthquake.

While I was working on my first fighter Sasu, I had an idea for an easy second fighter. Reusing a devil face from another custom, I pulled some parts out of my Parts Bin, came up with his shirt decal, added some paint, and Barrett Diablo was born.

The Recipe

Barrett Diablo is made from a repainted Minimate. His hair comes from a Hawkman Minimate, his tail comes from an old Nightcrawler Minimate, and his boxing gloves come from a Blob Minimate. Barrett's face and shirt details are made with water-trandfer decals, with his pointy goatee made from Magic Sculpt and glued to his face.
